Louise Mohn Joins Forces With Norges Toppidrettsgymnas (NTG)
We’re grateful and proud to share the latest announcement from Norges Toppidrettsgymnas (NTG) and their new collaboration with our award-winning Founder, Louise Mohn. This partnership is built on NTG’s core values of will, joy, and respect. At the heart of this collaboration lies a shared belief: sport is more than the pursuit of performance and excellence — it is a powerful force for building social competence, responsibility, and belonging.
Together, Norges Toppidrettsgymnas (NTG) and Louise Mohn will aim to further develop the important work already taking place at NTG schools. In addition, Louise Mohn and Norges Toppidrettsgymnas Foundation have partnered on an “I Care Scholarship” program designed by NextGen Neighbor Network to help young athletes and provide hope from an early age for talented, values-driven children and youth regardless of their background, financial situation, or level of parental involvement. Louise Mohn is financing the scholarship model to shift the paradigm for all children regardless of background; where social capital trumps over financial barriers. With high social competence and their contributions to their local community, youth can apply with a recommendation from a cluster of community leaders, based on their behavior, character, and community contributions. This way children and youth are honored based on their hard work, integrity and potential, rather than the obstacles of their personal challenges.
Initially, the program will run for three years with full financial support from Louise Mohn and her companies.
